Papercut Tree—Bride and Bride

  • 2800

Yes—gay marriage is legal in all 50 states now, and Judith Meyers created papercut trees to celebrate. Hearts, flowers, and lovebirds occupy the limbs of this tree and a bride and bride stand on either side of the base. The tree can be used as a table or altar embellishment or can decorate the top of a wedding cake. Artist Judith Meyers used a papercutting style inspired by the German tradition (Scherenschnitte). She designed and hand cut original pieces that become patterns for the laser-cut trees and ornaments available for purchase at Handcrafted Art Traditions. The Bride and Bride Papercut Tree is 7 inches high. The tree comes with a protective folder, a mailing envelope, and a vellum insert giving directions for use and handling.

We offer FREE standard shipping within the United States.

NOTE: To honor Judith Meyers, from now through Dec. 31, 2016, 50% of the sales price of her papercuts will go to an organization working to Save Endangered Animals or to the Southern Plains Land Trust.
